When the fall story ends, we’ll take care of the final chapter.
The Afterword is our scheduled end-of-season removal service for fall displays provided by Postworthy Porches. We’ll return to collect and carry away your pumpkins, mini pumpkins, ornamental gourds, and hay bales, leaving the space clear and ready for what comes next. Cornstalk removal is available separately.
SCHEDULING
Select your preferred removal window at checkout. Postworthy Porches will schedule the specific collection date within that window based on availability, location, weather, and routing. Exact collection dates and arrival times cannot be guaranteed.
You do not need to be home, provided all items are accessible. Requests for a specific date or removal outside the available windows are subject to availability and may require an additional trip fee.
THIS REMOVAL INCLUDES:
• Collection of pumpkins, mini pumpkins, and ornamental gourds originally provided by Postworthy Porches
• Removal of hay bales included with your original display
• Haul-away and disposal of all collected materials
PUMPKIN CONDITION
Pumpkins must be intact, firm, and safe for our team to lift and transport. We cannot collect pumpkins that are soft, leaking, collapsed, split, heavily decomposed, or unable to be lifted without falling apart.
Clients are responsible for checking their display throughout the season and promptly removing and disposing of deteriorating pumpkins according to local waste guidelines. Please do not leave mushy or decomposing pumpkins for our removal team.
FINAL TIDY
Once the display has been removed, we’ll give the area a light sweep or blow-off to clear loose straw and seasonal debris, leaving the space neat and refreshed.
This service does not include washing, pressure washing, stain treatment, or removal of residue left by deteriorated pumpkins.
